Our association has a diverse, eclectic membership. This makeup is reflected in the diverse assortment of wildlife at the show: rattlesnakes, native deer, exotic sheep, trout, reconstructed skeletons, abalone, misc. birds, and everything in between.
Summer/Winter Seminars
A common thread among members old and new, is their willingness to help their fellow taxidermist (and competitor!!). This is done informally at the convention, emails, phone, and online forums. In addition, CAT sponsors seminars, usually at the shop of one of the members. These may be formal with a topic and presentation by a renowned taxidermist, or an informal "free for all" where multiple CAT Master taxidermists are on-site to help people hands on with their own mounts.
CAT Seminars are done on a "as requested" basis. Though the board may occasionally offer up a seminar, this is truly driven by the membership. If you would like to request a seminar on a particular subject, please contact:
Typically the show supports around 9 seminars on it's schedule. If you would like to request a particular subject or offer your services for a seminar during the annual show, please contact:
