CAT has long implemented a Masters Program. The intent of this program is to recognize the hard work and dedication it takes to not only become proficient, but to elevate taxidermy to an art form. Following strict judging criteria, a recipient of a CAT Master's award must obtain a minimum of 3 blue ribbons in a particular category (Birds, Fish, Game Heads, Lifesize Mammals, Reptiles) and 24 total points (points awarded: First/Blue - 3, Second/Red - 2, Third/White - 1, Best of Category - 1).
