The "board" is made up completely of volunteers that work tirelessly to support the organization. They work behind-the-scenes, organizing the annual Convention & Art Show, Seminars, and take action contacting various political action and similar organizations to support the interests of California's Taxidermists.
Who chooses the Board Members?
The Board of Directors is chosen by a vote of the association members annually. The board members have 3 year terms which expire on a staggered basis, with 4 up for re-election every year.
Who can be a Board Member?
Only members in good standing may be elected to the Board. Nominations for the Board can be made prior to or at the annual members meeting at the convention. For more information on what is expected of the Board Members, please contact Mark Dias.
